Bicycle
We have the “Accueil Vélo” label.
There’s a dedicated bike parking area just outside the château. To secure your luggage, a locker is available on the château grounds. For bikes with carts, a special secure garage is located in the immediate vicinity of the château. However, availability is not guaranteed.
To relax and recharge your batteries, a café is open at the same times as the Château, in the courtyard. It features a shaded area. Picnics are permitted, but only on condition that drinks are purchased at the café. A water point is also available for cyclists, but the toilets are not public and are reserved for customers who buy drinks in the café or visit the Château. Otherwise, you will be asked to pay an access fee of 0.50cts at reception.
Our team is on hand to help you with any technical problems you may encounter, including the loan of repair tools. We can also recharge your batteries.
Car
Château de Beaugency is ideally located in the heart of the town. For your convenience, we recommend parking on the quays of the Loire, just 200 meters from the château. The quays also offer a magnificent view of the 11th-century Beaugency bridge. Free parking makes it easy to visit the medieval town of Beaugency or enjoy a stroll along the banks of the Loire.
A parking space reserved for the disabled is located directly at the foot of the château.
